Michael Hooker

Michael has a Bachelor of Commerce and Management and is a Chartered Accountant (CA) of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Michael has practiced accountancy since 1992 and became a partner of Hooker Associates in 2001. His main areas of practice are business planning and structuring, turnaround management, budgeting and cashflow forecasting, business valuations and tax planning. Michael has experience working with clients from a variety of industries including New Migrants, Transport, Not-for-Profit Organisations, Health, Construction and Retail.

He has three young sons and enjoys most sports including rugby, tennis, golf and skiing.

Colin Hooker

Colin has a Bachelor of Commerce and is a Chartered Accountant (CA) of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Colin has practised accountancy in Christchurch for more than 25 years, including 20 years as a partner with a national accounting firm. His main areas of practice are predominately business management, taxation, business valuations and audit assignments. Colin’s knowledge and skills are utilised by professional practices, providers of health care, construction and engineering firms, farmers, retailers and manufacturers.

He enjoys most sports including tennis, squash, rugby and skiing. Colin has three adult children.
